Claims Systems Specialist

Job Summary

To support the efficient processing of claims, the full-time Claims Systems Specialist will manage system maintenance and troubleshooting, collaborate with IT and operational teams, and ensure data integrity within the Adjudication and Claim Entry System (ACES), with opportunities for remote, hybrid, or onsite work in Kansas or Missouri.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot healthcare systems related to claims processing and ensure data accuracy
• Participate in system upgrade projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements
• Provide technical assistance and training to internal teams on system functionalities and updates

Required qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Accounting preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in claims processing with knowledge of the ACES system preferred
• Experience in system testing and documentation practices preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and data privacy laws such as HIPAA is preferred
• Familiarity with data processing techniques and various healthcare systems is preferred but not required
