Job Summary
Responsible for supervising and training a team of Claims Specialists, the full-time remote Claims Team Leader will manage claims data submissions, payments, and resolve outstanding claim issues while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for team inquiries and coordinate with agencies and internal departments
- Audit team performance, monitor metrics, and manage the claims process effectively
- Train new and existing employees on department procedures and assist in developing claims processes for new agencies
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities for team members
