Job Summary
To support a growing team, the remote Claims Technical Lead will act as a primary contact for claims inquiries, mentor new hires, and ensure case managers utilize effective risk management skills while monitoring service levels.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for claims-specific questions and mentor new hires
- Conduct reviews and audits of claims to ensure quality and provide coaching to case managers
- Monitor KPIs and workload balancing for case managers to meet service commitments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business, management, or a related field
- 4 or more years of job-related experience
- 2 years of STD/LTD case management experience
- Strong understanding of contracts, plans, and products
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
