Clearance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clearance Specialist to support Specialty Pharmacy Operations remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform benefit verification and document insurance coverage for specialty medications and services
• Submit and track authorization requests
• Communicate updates on pending referrals and ensure timely referral processing

Required Qualifications:

• Specialty Pharmacy/PBM experience
• Experience with referrals, benefit verifications, and authorizations
• At least 2 years of home infusion pharmacy and/or medical intake/reimbursement experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
