Cleared DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Cleared DevOps Engineer to support the modernization and deployment of a critical government information system, the full-time position involves automating deployment processes, managing artifact repositories, and orchestrating infrastructure upgrades across Windows Server environments while planning migration to AWS cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Build and maintain Apache Solr clusters with Zookeeper in production environments
• Plan and execute migration strategies from on-premises VMware to AWS cloud infrastructure

Required qualifications:

• 13+ years of experience in Systems or IT related roles
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation/Terraform)
• Experience with Nexus Repository management
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a TS/SCI government clearance
