Cleared Oracle Database Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced in Oracle database administration, the full-time Cleared Oracle Database Engineer will manage the creation and optimization of Oracle 19c databases in both on-premises and AWS RDS environments while ensuring data integrity and availability through robust backup and restore procedures, all in a telework-approved setting.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage Oracle 19c databases, including schema design and performance tuning
• Establish and maintain backup and restore procedures while implementing security measures for data protection
• Optimize database interactions with Java applications and support SAP Business Intelligence reporting requirements

Required qualifications

• 13+ years of experience in Systems or IT-related roles, with a focus on Oracle database administration
• Proven experience with Oracle 19c databases in both on-premises and AWS RDS environments
• Experience in designing and implementing database schemas for enterprise applications
• Strong background in database performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a TS/SCI government clearance, requiring US Citizenship
