Cleared Senior Java Developer

Job Summary

To modernize a critical government information system, the cleared Senior Java Developer will work full-time, remotely, focusing on upgrading enterprise Java applications, integrating with various technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in secure environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and execute technology stack upgrades for enterprise Java applications in secure government environments
• Develop and maintain Java/Python components on Windows-based VMware infrastructure while implementing secure coding practices
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure minimal operational disruption during system upgrades

Required qualifications:

• 13+ years of experience in Systems or IT-related roles, with a focus on enterprise Java application development
• Expertise in Python and Apache Solr with Zookeeper, including upgrading and migrating Solr index data
• Experience with Apache Tomcat, Apache Directory Studio, and Oracle 19c/Relational database integration
• Familiarity with SAP Business Intelligence reporting frameworks and secure coding practices for government compliance
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a TS/SCI government clearance, requiring US Citizenship
