CLI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CLI Engineer to join their Dev Workflow team and enhance the local development experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop consistent, secure, and performant CLI tools in Golang across multiple operating systems
• Collaborate with product teams to define CLI functionality and improve usability within the development stack
• Implement testing strategies and create documentation for end-users and developers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in software development focusing on command-line tools
• Proficiency in programming languages for CLI development (e.g., Go, Rust, Python, Node.js, C++)
• Deep understanding of cross-platform development and package distribution mechanisms
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools
