Job Summary
To support self-pay clients in developing financial plans for treatment services, the remote Client Account Specialist will manage client accounts, ensure timely payments, and assist with appointment scheduling while demonstrating empathy and compassion.
Key responsibilities
- Handle heavy inbound and outbound phone calls to assist clients with account inquiries and financial planning
- Identify and escalate client account issues to the Client Account Team Lead, while monitoring compliance with payment plans
- Review applications for financial assistance and allocate funding to approved recipients, ensuring effective communication throughout the process
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two years of customer phone experience
- Two years of experience in healthcare with knowledge of client benefit coverage and/or claims preferred
- Basic knowledge of Teams, Outlook, and Office programs, with the ability to learn new applications
- Experience in a behavioral health environment preferred
