Client Accounting Services Director

Job Summary

Leading a growing Client Accounting Services division, the full-time salaried Client Accounting Services Director will manage a team, enhance client relationships, and drive practice growth while working remotely across multiple East Coast locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Serve as the senior relationship lead for key clients, providing strategic financial guidance and actionable insights
• Partner with firm leadership to identify growth opportunities and expand advisory services within the practice

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with leadership in public accounting or advisory services
• Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or similar tools
• Strong consultative and advisory mindset with a focus on client relationship building
• CPA designation is strongly preferred but not mandatory
• Proven ability to improve systems, processes, and service delivery in a client-facing environment
