Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Client Reimbursement Advocate will manage and resolve disputes with providers on behalf of clients and members, ensuring fair agreements on medical claims and services while advocating for access to care.
Key responsibilities
- Resolve access to care issues by providing updates and final resolutions to stakeholders, including members and department leadership
- Negotiate with providers regarding medical plan pricing and troubleshoot barriers to entry for members and clients
- Maintain communication with members to establish trust and provide relevant updates throughout the case resolution process
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or customer service
- Experience with negotiations; billing, insurance, healthcare, or legal experience is a plus
- Knowledge of CMS1500 and UB04 Medical Claim Forms and medical coding is desired
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
