Client Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Client Reimbursement Intake Specialist will educate providers and members on health plan benefits, assist in member navigation, and confirm benefits to ensure access to necessary healthcare services.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate outreach to primary providers to explain plan benefits and resolve cases before escalation
• Research and confirm member benefits and responsibilities, assisting advocates and members in identifying alternative provider options when necessary
• Track and document all communications and efforts to ensure a smooth handoff of cases to Client Reimbursement Advocates

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or customer service
• Experience with negotiations
• Familiarity with billing, insurance, healthcare, or legal environments is a plus
• Knowledge of CMS1500 and UB04 Medical Claim Forms and medical coding is desired
