Climate Communications Manager

Job Summary

A company in the Environmental Services industry is looking for a Climate Communications Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic communications plan for the Climate Research team to engage members and non-members alike, including writing compelling content for various media channels, and building relationships with the media and other thought leaders
• Collaborate with the Comms team to ensure Climate communications align with the broader company comms strategy and evaluate the impact of communications to guide future efforts
• Build a social media presence for both company and members of the Climate team and respond to questions and comments on publications

Qualifications:

• Experience with PR and/or building relationships with the media
• A strong passion for creating engaging, tailored content, on a variety of media, including digital platforms, to influence and further enhance our reputation
• Experience, or the ability to edit and condense raw research outputs into publicly accessible formats
• A keen interest in climate change and ability to effectively communicate across a variety of channels
• Experience managing social media platforms
