Climate Resiliency Curriculum Specialist

Job Summary

To support the SNJ-DEP project titled Building a Climate Ready NJ, the part-time Climate Resiliency Curriculum Specialist will provide subject matter expertise in curriculum development and educational programming, collaborating with faculty and students to create engaging materials that promote climate resiliency and environmental stewardship.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engaging, solutions-focused educational materials for the Climate Resiliency Club pilot program
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and graduate students on project planning and implementation
• Provide subject matter expertise in climate resiliency and educational programming

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Education, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and educational programming
• Knowledge of climate resiliency and sustainability principles
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration platforms
