A company is looking for a Consultant: Climate Resilient Housing Best Practices Documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a desk review and individual consultations to analyze existing climate-resilient housing practices across the Asia-Pacific region
  • Prepare a structured draft documenting existing practices, design solutions, and community capacity development methodologies
  • Facilitate validation workshops to gather feedback and finalize the best practices document


Required Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in architecture, civil engineering, urban planning, climate science, or disaster risk management
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in similar assignments
  • Experience in developing technical guidelines for international organizations or government programs
  • In-depth knowledge of housing, climate resilience, and disaster risk management, preferably in the Asia-Pacific context
  • Proficiency in climate risk analysis tools such as GIS and hazard mapping
