Job Summary
A company is looking for a Consultant for Climate Resilient Housing Best Practices Documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a desk review of technical documents and consultations with country offices to identify key themes and gaps in climate-resilient housing practices
- Prepare a structured draft documenting existing practices and approaches related to climate change risks and housing solutions
- Facilitate validation workshops to gather feedback and finalize the best practices document
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in architecture, civil/structural engineering, housing-urban/regional planning, climate science, or disaster risk management
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in similar assignments
- Proven experience in developing technical guidelines or frameworks for international organizations or government programs
- In-depth knowledge of housing, climate resilience, and disaster risk management, preferably in the Asia-Pacific context
- Proficiency in climate risk analysis tools such as GIS and hazard mapping
