Clinic Registration Specialist

Job Summary

To support outpatient therapy services, the full-time Clinic Registration Specialist will manage patient registration, verify insurance coverage, process orders, and maintain medical records while creating a welcoming environment for patients and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with referral sources to coordinate care and ensure a smooth transition for patients
• Verify insurance benefits and coverage, and maintain accurate billing procedures using appropriate IT systems
• Organize and maintain medical records, ensuring compliance and effective operations

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Two years of experience in billing, financial counseling, or a healthcare-related role preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Outlook
• Flexibility to learn additional IT applications as assigned
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals
