Job Summary

To support outpatient therapy services, the full-time Clinic Registration Specialist will manage patient registration, verify insurance coverage, process billing procedures, and maintain medical records while fostering positive relationships with patients and referral sources.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate care by communicating with referral sources and maintaining organized medical records
• Verify insurance benefits and coverage, ensuring accurate billing and documentation for payment
• Demonstrate professionalism and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of experience in billing, financial counseling, EMR, or a related healthcare field preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Outlook
• Willingness to learn additional IT applications as assigned
