Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. Accountant, Clinical.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the monthly financial close process for clinical trial activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Analyze clinical trial expenses and review CRO invoices and contracts for proper accounting treatment
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations and CRO to validate accrual assumptions and resolve discrepancies
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the Biotech/Pharma industry or with Big Four firms
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Proficiency with financial systems and software, including SAP and Coupa
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas
- Experience with financial analysis and process improvement initiatives
