Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Appeals Specialist (LPN or RN).

Key Responsibilities

Review medical records against criteria and contract requirements for accuracy and timeliness
Assess and manage daily workload, adjusting schedules as necessary to meet departmental demands
Maintain knowledge of review processes and serve as a liaison for customer service issues

Required Qualifications

Active unrestricted LPN or RN license required
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution
For LPN, completion of an Associate's degree or Practical nursing program as per state requirements
3+ years of experience in healthcare environments supporting members and providers
