Clinical Application Specialist
Job Summary
To provide expertise in real-world data and analysis methods within Clinical Sciences, the contract Clinical Application Specialist will independently develop and execute data analysis plans, communicate findings to epidemiologists, and contribute to the design of observational studies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage data/statistical analysis plans and analyze epidemiology databases to prepare relevant tables and figures
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews for real-world data methodology and coding algorithms
- Provide insights and epidemiology data for core safety and regulatory documents, including RMPs and PSURs
Required qualifications
- MPH or MS degree in Epidemiology, Health Services Research, Pharmacy Administration, or related field; Ph.D. preferred
- 4-5 years of epidemiology and/or public health experience with a Master's degree or 1-2 years with a Ph.D
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, R, or related statistical software for data analysis and visualization
- Familiarity with real-world data concepts and extensive experience in manipulating and analyzing these databases
- Knowledge and experience in different therapeutic areas
