Job Summary
To support the Pathology department, the full-time Clinical Applications Expert will manage technical solutioning, evaluate tools, and mentor analysts while working remotely to ensure effective integration and interoperability of clinical applications across the Beaker and Imaging Platform continuum.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical solutioning and tool evaluation for complex projects, ensuring alignment with operational and clinical requirements
- Mentor and elevate the capabilities of analysts through coaching and informal leadership, fostering a collaborative environment
- Contribute to project direction by defining technical approaches and build strategies, while maintaining documentation and staying current with industry trends
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field preferred; an Associate's degree in a clinical field with relevant experience may be accepted
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare applications/IT with hands-on build and configuration experience in core systems like Epic or Workday
- Proven ability to resolve complex problems and deliver measurable outcomes in a collaborative IT environment
- Experience mentoring or coaching less experienced staff without formal management responsibilities
- Current fluency in one to two defined technical domains with working knowledge of adjacent systems and AI-enabled tools
