Clinical Assistant Revenue Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Assistant I/Revenue Claims Specialist-Temp.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicates with prior authorization, claims, and lab teams to troubleshoot issues and streamline processes
• Assists with data collection for internal projects and tracks outcomes of payment resolutions and appeals
• Reviews billing and coding changes and monitors claim denials while assisting genetic counselors with inquiries

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (required)
• BA/BS in biology, allied health, or a science-related field (strongly preferred)
• Consideration for candidates pursuing a four-year degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in insurance collections or medical billing preferred
