Clinical Charge Capture Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Clinical Charge Capture Specialist will review Epic reports to identify and resolve charge-related issues, collaborate with healthcare professionals for proper workqueue resolution, and support audits and educational sessions.

Key responsibilities:

• Reviews standard Epic Reports to identify and resolve charge-related issues
• Collaborates with clinicians and billing specialists for proper workqueue resolution
• Produces and distributes reports to clinic managers and clinical leads as assigned

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma required; Associate of Arts degree in the medical field preferred
• Demonstrated leadership ability and teamwork skills
• Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
• Knowledge of ICD and CPT/HCPCS coding and billing practices is preferred
• Proficiency in using multiple data systems and PC applications, such as Excel and Word
