Job Summary
Ensuring the clinical accuracy of AI training data, the full-time Clinical AI Data Specialist will annotate medical records, validate data quality, and refine clinical logic for AI-powered risk adjustment products in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Annotate medical records for AI training data and validate annotated data for quality assurance
- Review AI model output labels against clinical documentation to identify and correct errors
- Translate coding standards into explicit instructions for AI tools and document changes for senior review
Required qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of coding and/or CDI experience with proficiency in ICD-10-CM code assignment
- Active credential in at least one of the following: CCS, CPC, CRC, CDIP, CCDS, or equivalent certification
- Ability to apply clinical coding standards independently to produce high-quality labels
- Experience articulating clinical rationale for labeling decisions in writing
- Capability to work independently within established guidelines and escalate systematic issues
