Clinical Communications Coordinator

Job Summary

To support effective communication in healthcare, the part-time and full-time Clinical Communications Coordinator will relay urgent and non-urgent medical results between radiologists and referring physicians, ensuring timely communication while maintaining HIPAA compliance in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Relay urgent and non-urgent medical results between radiologists, referring physicians, and healthcare providers
• Serve as a key point of contact for resolving communication issues and facilitating call transfers
• Ensure critical findings are delivered to the appropriate healthcare professionals and address reporting-related questions

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent healthcare experience preferred; Bachelor's degree highly preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of radiology technology experience with strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
