Clinical Communications Coordinator

Job Summary

To support effective communication in healthcare, the part-time Clinical Communications Coordinator will relay urgent and non-urgent medical results between radiologists, referring physicians, and healthcare providers remotely while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Relay urgent and non-urgent medical results across multiple hospital systems
• Serve as a key point of contact for resolving communication issues and supporting healthcare professionals
• Facilitate timely call transfers and direct communication between referring physicians and radiologists

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent healthcare experience; Bachelor's degree highly preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of radiology technology experience with knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong customer service orientation
