Clinical Consulting Pharmacist - PA/TN Licensed

Job Summary

Providing clinical consultation and medication management, the full-time Clinical Consulting Pharmacist - PA/TN Licensed will work remotely to evaluate therapy appropriateness, collaborate with healthcare providers, and support complex case reviews while ensuring evidence-based practices are followed.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical review and consultation on medication requests, prior authorizations, and benefit determinations
• Collaborate with providers to clarify prescriptions and recommend alternatives when appropriate
• Identify opportunities to improve medication adherence, safety, and cost-effectiveness

Required qualifications

• R.Ph required; PharmD preferred
• Full, current, and unrestricted pharmacist license in PA, TN, and/or OH
• 1+ year of pharmacy experience preferred (retail, hospital, or managed care)
• Working knowledge of formulary management and clinical guidelines
• Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment and work independently
