Clinical Data Abstractor Specialist

Job Summary

To support healthcare data management, the full-time Clinical Data Abstractor Specialist will analyze clinical data, identify trends, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working remotely within the designated four-state footprint of MO, IL, OK, or WI.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately disseminate data from medical records in accordance with governing rules and protocols
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure data accuracy and timely submissions
• Identify and resolve clinical data discrepancies while contributing to process improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
• One year of experience in healthcare or a related field
• Nursing background preferred, especially in Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit settings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with EPIC
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
