Job Summary

Transforming complex clinical information into actionable insights, the full-time Clinical Data Abstractor Specialist will analyze and abstract clinical data to support stroke certification, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement efforts in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately disseminate data from medical records in accordance with governing body rules and protocols
• Collaborate with internal team members and external vendors to ensure data accuracy and timely submission
• Identify and resolve clinical data discrepancies while contributing to process improvements for enhanced patient outcomes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
• One year of experience in healthcare or a related field
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy for effective data abstraction
• Ability to complete required certifications for specific abstractions
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills for problem-solving
