Clinical Data Curator I

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Clinical Data Curator I will interpret clinical information from patient test requisition forms and medical records, entering relevant details into the database while maintaining clinical data records and following up with ordering clinicians as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and enter clinical information for daily incoming cases across various specialties
• Maintain and update clinical data records with new information as it becomes available
• Follow up with ordering clinicians for clarification of details and additional records as directed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field, or equivalent healthcare or laboratory-related work experience
• Interest in a genetic counseling career, with previous lab experience considered a plus
• Experience in medical records abstraction, data entry, or data management preferred
• General knowledge of computers and navigating databases
• Self-motivated and team-oriented with good interpersonal skills
