Clinical Data Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance clinical data initiatives, the full-time Clinical Data Engineer will design and develop ETL pipelines, implement data quality controls, and contribute to the growth of the data warehouse, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load clinical data for analysis
• Implement data quality controls to ensure the accuracy and consistency of clinical data throughout the pipeline lifecycle
• Collaborate with BI architects and stakeholders to build and publish data models and ETL processes using the Epic Caboodle Console and third-party tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field with six years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of two years of experience as an Application Engineer or Developer focused on data warehouse and ETL solutions
• Three years of experience with SQL Server, including SSIS and T-SQL
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and data engineering tools
• One year of experience with Python or PySpark
