Clinical Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Medical Affairs department, the full-time Clinical Data Engineer will develop and manage clinical datasets, create ELT/ETL pipelines, and build dashboards for tracking clinical outcomes in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines for electronic health record (EHR) data extracts
- Migrate structured CSV data into databases/data warehouses/data lakes for efficient querying
- Create dashboards to track the performance of the IntelliSep solution and provide insights into clinical outcomes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of industry-related experience, preferably with EHR or clinical data
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, bash, and Git
- Familiarity with cloud computing providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and PHI-handling requirements in a clinical data environment
