Clinical Data Manager

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Clinical Data Manager, the remote position will manage data abstraction, quality control, and multidisciplinary teamwork to support the development of new therapies for cancer and other diseases.

Key responsibilities

• Efficiently identify and abstract clinical data from medical records while maintaining documentation of data definitions and abstraction procedures
• Perform quality reviews on data abstraction work and address data quality questions from a multidisciplinary team
• Collaborate with clinicians to clarify abstraction procedures and support automated abstraction activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
• 2+ years of data abstraction experience with knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records
• Strong organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy and detail
• Ability to adapt in a rapidly growing startup environment and manage time effectively
• Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently
