Clinical Data Manager

Job Summary

To support a multidisciplinary team in developing new therapies for cancer and other diseases, the remote Senior Clinical Data Manager will manage data abstraction from medical notes, ensure quality control of clinical data, and coordinate with clinicians on abstraction procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Efficiently abstract clinical data from open text medical notes and maintain the EDC database
• Perform quality reviews of data abstraction and address data quality questions from the team
• Collaborate with clinicians to clarify abstraction procedures and support automated abstraction activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a healthcare-related field
• 2+ years of manual data abstraction or chart review experience from EHR source documents
• Knowledge and regular use of medical terminology
• Strong organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to adapt in a rapidly growing startup environment
