Clinical Data Manager
Job Summary
To support clinical programs from study start-up through database lock, an experienced Clinical Data Manager will manage data quality oversight, CRO and vendor management, and ensure the delivery of timely, inspection-ready clinical data in a fully remote, full-time contractor position.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Data Management Plans (DMPs) and related study documentation
- Conduct ongoing data review, manage data queries, and ensure timely data cleaning
- Monitor data transfers and oversee CRO and vendor deliverables, identifying and resolving data quality risks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of clinical data management experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical development
- Proficiency with Medidata Rave, Veeva Vault CDMS, or comparable EDC systems
- Solid knowledge of clinical data standards and regulations, including CDISC/CDASH and ICH-GCP
- Experience managing CRO and technology vendors in a data management capacity
