Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Denial Assistant responsible for managing accounts receivable related to denied claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate denied claims and follow up with insurance companies and hospital departments
• Compose non-clinical appeals and manage appeal letter submissions
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local hospital billing regulations

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year of training in medical billing, coding, or insurance processing
• Associate degree in a related field is preferred
• Knowledge and experience with EPIC medical billing is preferred
• Experience with hospital billing is preferred
