Clinical Denials Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Denials Specialist responsible for managing accounts receivable related to denied claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and follow up on denied claims with insurance companies and other stakeholders
• Compose non-clinical appeals and manage submission processes
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local billing regulations

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year of training in medical billing, coding, or insurance processing
• Associate degree in a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of EPIC medical billing is preferred
• Experience with hospital billing is preferred
