Clinical Development Director

Job Summary

Supporting Clinical Development in Chronic Weight Management, the full-time remote Clinical Development Director will manage the global scientific/medical evidence plan, facilitate cross-functional collaborations, and develop key scientific relationships while providing clinical input for trials and regulatory interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the global scientific/medical evidence plan
• Facilitate cross-functional collaborations to integrate medical, scientific, and commercial input into the development program
• Provide clinical input during the development and execution of clinical trials and regulatory interactions

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• 2 years of clinical research experience and/or basic science research
• 5+ years of clinical research experience, particularly in obesity and chronic weight management
• In-depth understanding of the scientific method and clinical trial design
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and applicable international regulatory requirements
