Clinical Development Director

Job Summary

Leading the early phase clinical development of compounds in cardiometabolic and general medicine, the full-time remote Clinical Development Director will manage protocol development, study startup, and data analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver clinical trials.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implementation of early clinical development strategies for therapeutic candidates
• Prepare clinical development plans, protocols, informed consents, and regulatory submissions
• Review and evaluate clinical study data related to safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetics

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• 2 years of industry or academic/basic sciences/clinical research experience
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, or Endocrinology preferred
• 3+ years of relevant drug development experience, preferably in early-stage clinical trials
• Experience in designing, monitoring, and interpreting clinical trials
