Clinical Development Director

Job Summary

Leading the early phase clinical development of compounds in Inflammation and Rare Diseases, the full-time remote Clinical Development Director will manage the design and delivery of early phase clinical trials, supporting protocol and IND development, data review, and analysis activities.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implementation of early clinical development strategies for therapeutic candidates
• Prepare clinical development plans, study protocols, and regulatory submissions
• Review and evaluate clinical study safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetic data

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• 2 years of industry or academic/basic sciences/clinical development experience
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or a relevant subspecialty
• Understanding of pathophysiology of inflammatory, general medicine, and/or rare diseases
• Experience in designing and implementing clinical trials and interpreting results
