Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert, translating complex clinical scenarios for engineering and product teams while optimizing clinical foundations across the organization.
Key responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally with strategy, engineering, and marketing to enhance clinical foundations
- Independently analyze clinical cases and develop internal tooling to address problems
- Design and conduct digital experiments in collaboration with the engineering team
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing with current RN and CCDS credentials
- 5+ years of leadership experience in Coding and/or CDI departments within the revenue cycle
- Experience with concurrent and retrospective CDI review in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Current credentials from AHIMA, AAPC, or ACDIS
