Job Summary
To support the Quality & Risk Adjustment strategy, the full-time Clinical Documentation Integrity Auditor will perform medical record audits, validate coding accuracy, and initiate provider queries, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct medical record audits based on organizational priorities, including concurrent and retrospective reviews
- Perform coding validation to confirm, adjust, or clarify diagnoses as needed
- Utilize AI tools and collaborate with the CDI Manager to enhance coding quality and compliance
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in outpatient Clinical Documentation Improvement or 5+ years in risk adjustment coding/auditing
- Relevant certifications such as CPC, CRC, CDIP, CCDS, or CCS
- Experience with AI tools and Google Suite
- Prior CPT coding experience is a plus
