Job Summary
Collaborating with the CDI Director, the full-time Clinical Documentation Integrity Manager will oversee client implementations, ensure best practice metrics, and develop educational materials while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily CDI program oversight including productivity, quality, education, and training
- Develop and update CDI policies and procedures while ensuring efficient use of CDI technology
- Monitor key performance indicators and assist with month-end client reporting and analysis
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least one of the following: RN, MD, or MD equivalent
- 7+ years of acute care hospital CDI experience
- 3+ years of prior management experience
- Strong clinical understanding of disease processes and familiarity with encoder and DRG assignment
