Clinical Documentation Integrity RN Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Integrity RN Specialist with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review medical records to identify diagnoses and assign working HCC
• Educate internal staff on clinical documentation and coding guidelines
• Develop and support professional relationships with medical providers

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years working as a Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS) Nurse or Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Nurse
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum of 3 years inpatient hospital nursing experience required
• CCS, CCDS or CDIP preferred
• Working knowledge of the Medicare Advantage reimbursement system and HCC Coding required
