Clinical Documentation Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Clinical Documentation Specialist will ensure quality review of OASIS admission documents and Plans of Care for CMS program compliance while collaborating with Home Health leadership to enhance regulatory compliance and patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct quality reviews of OASIS admission documents and Plans of Care
- Collaborate with the Manager of Performance Improvement and Home Health leadership
- Serve as a consultant and expert in OASIS for Home Health staff across the region
Required qualifications
- Education sufficient for licensure
- 2 years of Physical Therapy experience in Home Health or Palliative Care
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, preferably Homecare Homebase or EPIC
