Job Summary

A company is looking for a Biomedical Engineer / Clinical Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs in managing medical technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for the lifecycle management of medical devices and clinical systems
• Evaluate, test, and analyze medical equipment performance for safety and compliance
• Assist with installation planning and provide advanced troubleshooting for equipment failures

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Certification as a Clinical Engineer (CCE)
• Minimum of three years of healthcare experience in maintaining medical equipment
• Knowledge of computer-based medical systems, networking protocols, and information security
• Competency in conducting compliant medical equipment management programs
• Understanding of regulatory agency requirements and industry standards
