Clinical Engineer with Patient Safety Expertise

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Biomedical Engineer / Clinical Engineer with Patient Safety Expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and respond to medical device recalls, safety notices, and adverse events
• Support investigations into equipment-related incidents and contribute to documentation and reporting
• Ensure alignment with patient safety goals and applicable regulatory and accreditation standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Certification as a Clinical Engineer (CCE)
• 5+ years of experience managing a recall and safety alert program for medical devices
• Knowledge of computer-based medical systems, networking protocols, and information security
• Competency in conducting a compliant medical equipment management program
• Understanding of regulatory agencies' requirements and industry standards
