Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Genetic Scientist (Genetic Counseling).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with a team of geneticists and counselors to analyze clinical data and manage cases
• Establishes phenotype-genotype links and reviews a wide range of genetic disorders
• Utilizes proprietary software and workflows to qualify variants from exome and genome sequencing

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Genetic Counseling program
• 2+ years of experience in a clinical diagnostics laboratory setting preferred
• Previous experience with variant curation is preferred
• Certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) or equivalent
• Appropriate judgment for diagnostic and predictive testing
