Job Summary

Leading variant curation and data analysis, the full-time Clinical Genomic Scientist will interpret genomic data in clinical contexts, mentor junior team members, and ensure compliance with ACMG guidelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the curation of variants, genes, and gene-disease correlations according to ACMG guidelines
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of clinical genomics data using various sequencing and analysis techniques
• Draft clinical reports, manage validation processes, and mentor junior team members

Required qualifications

• PhD or MD in clinical medicine, genetics, molecular biology, or equivalent
• 7+ years of relevant experience in the field
• Optional certification: MB(ASCP)
• Extensive knowledge of genomic variation and its impact on human diseases
• Proficiency in bioinformatics analysis for variant identification within genomic datasets
